Microsoft introduced Windows Vista (codenamed Longhorn) on 30 January 2007 worldwide. Windows Vista was the first Microsoft Operating system:

AERO style introduced in Windows Vista which state for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective, and Open. AERO style provides a new level of eye candy for users with new transparencies, live icons, live thumbnails and animation. Windows Flip 3D feature enables it a new look in switching between the tabs of window by pressing Window-key+TAB.

Windows ReadyBoost Technology

ReadyBoost Technology is the new and great feature in Windows Vista. With this technology user can add USB flash as RAM to extend their system memory and improve performance. To utilize this technology just add Flash to USB port and use the device to speed up the system performance.


Bitlocker Drive Encryption:

Windows Vista Enterprise and Windows Vista Ultimate provides Bitlocker Drive Encryption. This security feature encrypts the entire volume and protect the file from an unauthorized access.


Backup and Restore Feature:

Backup and Restore feature enable to users to create backup and restore when it needed. Windows Vista provide an auto option which automatically cache the files and make an image based backup of the whole computer.
